A New Season for the Next Generation

After returning from the Philippines in March 2025, Tara and I stepped into a new assignment as full-time Youth Pastors at The Refuge Church. What began as individual encounters with the Holy Spirit became a unified calling—to pour into the next generation and give them a voice.

The Lord first ignited this fire in my heart during a youth camp I attended in June 2024. As I watched 300–400 students—many deeply wounded by poor adult decisions—lay their pain on the altar, I witnessed real freedom take place. Chains were broken. Hearts were restored. In that moment, the Lord deeply pricked my heart for the youth.

Tara’s encounter came a few months later. In September 2024, as we were preparing to leave for a week-long ministers’ conference, she was prophesied over. The word spoken was clear and powerful: she was receiving a new heart for the youth. From that moment on, we both knew God was aligning us for what was ahead.

From April through December 2025, we have been faithfully laying the foundation the Lord commanded us to build for the youth of Sabine County. One clear instruction the Lord spoke to me was:
“Let the youth know they have a voice.”

These past eight months have been filled with God’s story unfolding and our own continual surrender to be His vessels. It has been humbling, stretching, and incredibly rewarding to watch Him move in the lives of young people.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who has stood with us—through prayer, financial support, and words of encouragement. Your faithfulness has helped make this work possible.

We love you all deeply, and we are excited and expectant for what the Lord is going to do in 2026.

This season has required our full attention and obedience, and we’re grateful for your patience and continued prayers as the Lord continues to lead each step.
